Poor man's replication?
I have two mysql databases that I need to keep in sync. Doesn't have to be instantaneous, in fact even hourly granularity is fine.
But here's the problem: one of the hosts is on an unreliable and low latency link. So I don't want to run full on replication and run the risk of things getting out of whack.
I'm wondering if anyone has a script that I can run manually, or out of cron, the will sync these guys up.
